A young chef trained abroad who brings back his skills home. He only uses fresh ingredients of the day, never wastes food and is in the scandi-inspired line of new Lithuanian cuisine. Your meat is tender and does not swim in sauces as it is so good with its light fonds and vegetables, individually treated as taste enhancers that they are. He encourages local producers to come up with the bet, such as real cheese as opposed to processed ones. As he was out of desserts, Linas "just" made us truffles out of dark chocolates.
Neighbors won't let him have a liquor license so he does lunches, early dinner (close at 7pm) and take-out. Drink the fresh local juices and thoroughly enjoy as we did. Someday, this chef who respects ingredients and handles them seriously will be among the great ones.
