“The restaurant you have to visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013 via mobile

One evening we went to the place we had been recommended. Expectations wasn't that big, but as soon as we sat and been served our mood got lifted up. Services was brilliant, but most important food was beyond expectations, delicious, looked really fresh and stylish. And the price was far not too expensive.
Highly recommend!!!

“Place to go!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013 via mobile

We have really liked this place.
Food is excellent and very well presented and the place is really nicely designed.
Service was very unprofessional with the waiter asking literally if we were full at the end of our meal and also lacking the basic service rule.
Never the less I will come back to tilt his restaurant.

“Nice enough.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013 via mobile

If you translate 'Stebuklai' into English it means 'Miracles' - which sounds like an Essex nightclub. However, there's no old-fashioned dancing around your handbag going on around here.

Even before you enter, you can tell it wants to be seen as ultra-modern. Resembling a giant smoked-glass lunar capsule that's crash landed nose-first in Central Europe.

Inside it's elegant and plush enough in a hotel restaurant kind a way. Service attentive and friendly. We had the lunch menu. Home-made mini white bloomers and dark fluffy carrot bread with vegetable mousse-like vegetable spread with crumbled dried olive to kick off with. Could have eaten all of it. So I did.

Beautifully served on slate platter. Very clean-lined Nordic/Baltic design feel.

Caramelised onion and potato soup with truffle oil and cream as starter. Exquisitely dotted with oils and herbs that shimmered like jewels on a custard-coloured sea. Humongous bowl sticks in my mind. Had to use my aqualung to dive down to the bottom of it.

Braised ox cheek with potato mash and Parmesan cream? for main. Puny portion but tasted delicious. Presentation bit agricultural though.

Freshly juiced juices to go with it all. 115 litas (£28) for four was good value I thought even in Lithuania. Heard it's more in the evening but can recommend it for a well- thought through lunch.

Only gripes were the more poser than practical low comfy chairs that made fine-dining feel more like you were sat in front of the telly in a low-slung Ford Granada.

“Fusion kitchen and terrible service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

Pros:
Good place for those who like to taste and experiment with food (like me)
Good place to chill out with friends
Try youghurt desert - delicious

Cons:
Overpriced.
Beef tartare was not finely choped, but taseted good enough.
Wine list was not provided. Instead, waiter offered a glass of wine without mentioning a surprisingly high price that appered on our bill - 14 EUR....
Restaurant manager seemed to be very busy... meeting friends.

“Nice place, but not a Miracle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013 via mobile

Stebuklai - or in english miracles. But indeed, I haven't seen any miracle here. Food is OK, but not something exceptional, while prices are high. Desert (dried pear), at least for me was just nice to see but not to try. More over it was forgotten by stuff so I had to wait for it much longer. Service was good and helpful, because of the forgotten desert I was proposed to have a coffee or tea for free. Public there is posh and fancy.
