“Rinno hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

This hotel is fantastic value for money. comfort, friendliness, cleanliness, location and of course breakfast, all excellent. I just have to agree with everything all the other positive reviews said. If you are arriving at Vilnius Airport you can book a taxi and change some money to pay for the fare just inside the arrivals door and the cost is only 35 Lt (10euro) right to the front door of the hotel. Again the staff of the hotel will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible and nothing is to difficult for them. Thanks for my four days stay at your hotel, I will return.

Room Tip: We were in room 22 on the ground floor and it was perfect

Had a 4 night stay in Vilnius. Hotel was very nice, clean and most of the staff spoke good English which was very helpful for us.

Prices were extremely reasonable.

Our room (number 19, superior room) was big and spacious, we heard little noise and certainly nothing that would keep us from sleeping.

We got the hotel to arrange a taxi to pick us up from the airport. This cost us a set fare of 60LTL, about 40LTL more than what you'd normally pay if you rang one but I wasn't too bothered about paying a little extra to be met by someone at the airport in a city that I've never been to and at night when I wouldn't have known where I was going.

Breakfast as many have mentioned was very nice. The cooked dishes were very tasty and the selection of meats, cheese, cereal, fruits, drinks, teas etc very all very good and offered plenty of choice.

As a couple of others have mentioned I must also mention the local bar down the road (turn right when leaving the hotel, about 40 yards down the road on the left hand side corner). It's called Kisenele, the lady who runs it is lovely and we went there every day. A pint of beer was only £1 (even the strong 8.2% one which was very nice, but beware when having a few of them, lol).

Food was also extremely cheap and everything I ate there was delicious and for the large portions you get a great deal for your money. Again as someone else mentioned the lady who runs it rang us a taxi to the airport when we left and it was only 20LTL.

If I return to Vilnius in the future I'd definitely go back to Hotel Rinno as it was a well run hotel, clean and with very helpful staff whenever you ask them for anything (our flight coming home was a late one and they kindly stored our bags in a room for us for no charge while we went out during the day)

Room Tip: Superior-room, room number 19

Rinno is a nice little hotel 5 minutes walk to old city. It is no minibar in
the standard rooms, so choose superior rooms. Breakfast is good.
This is really a "value for money" hotel. You get a lot more than you pay for.
Try the restaurant Tores in the area Uzupio. Fantastic atmosphere, good food
and a beautiful view over the city.

Room Tip: Superior-room, room nr 12, very big

We only spent one night here, but found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Good breakfast assortment, typical meats, breads, cereals etc. Minibar was reasonably priced. Hotel was very clean and we felt very comfortable here. Beds and showers were fine. This hotel is a good value too.

The bedroom, and bathroom were both decently sized and comfortable. The TV was quite old but at least had a movie channel showing US films and some English/US news channels. Basic toiletries provided and a minibar with beer and soft drinks. Breakfast was a good selection of cereals, juices, cold meats, breads, yoghurt and fruit with very nice coffee. You could also have porridge, omelettes, sausages and pancakes cooked to order which was very tasty. My room on arrival was very cold but when I told reception they turned the heating on and it - eventually- reached a pleasant temperature. Hotel is a 15 min stroll from the old town and from the nearest bus stop (Route 2 from the airport).Free internet access via a couple of hotel pc's All in all a comfortable. good value hotel. ps I highly recommend a trip to the Opera, very cheap by UK standards (£25 for a very good seat) and a very good standard of performance in a very impressive building.

Room Tip: My room overlooked the street but wasn't noisy at all. The immediate area has some late night sh...

We stayed at the hotel for three nights at the beginning of September. The hotel is very clean and pleasant, and the staff very friendly and helpful (there is no lift at the hotel, but a member of the staff carried our two pretty hefty suitcases to the second floor as easily as if they were made of fluff). The hotel's location is superb - right next to old town, 2 minutes away from various trolley stations if you want to venture to other parts of Vilnius, and quite close to the train station as well, if you want to go to Trakai or take other daytrips from the city. It should be noted that if you're arriving from the airport, you will have to walk for about ten minutes with your suitcases (ours were heavy), but the effort is well worth it. This is a hotel that absolutely gives you your worth for the money you pay - and then some. Plus the breakfast has more choices for hot dishes that you will ever encounter in a three & four star hotel anywhere. Great experience and a great starting point from where to explore Vilnius and its surroundings.

Have just returned frm a weekend trip to Vilnius I was very impressed and surprised by the hospitality , culture and quality of Vilnius although I did some research regarding the city you allways have to visit to experience the area for yourself . Stayed at Hotel Rinno which was comfortable , clean , well priced , central and very helpful staff, nothing was a problem .I will return to Vilnius in the near future which is unusual for me as I like to visit different places , I know now there is so much more to see and do there

Room Tip: If you can afford the deluxe room they are much larger and more comfortable than the standard rooms...
