“Well worth a visit (and its free :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

We really enjoyed our short visit (we spent around 1 hour inside), although we are not usually interested in money (beside their quantity in our pockets ;). The history of money is well given, with some funny things/jokes to additionally entertain you along the way. Also its a nice place to warm-up for free in winter, and you can even get some shredded money for free ;)

“Totally worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012 via mobile

Never felt any particular interest in the history of money but saw good reviews in Tripadvisor and decided to take a look. Spent more than 2 hours exploring the museum with the free audioguide, doing quizes, making my own coin and, of course, seeing how much I would cost if I was made of gold (wouldn't mind costing some hundreds of thousands EUR less:)). Had a really nice time, I wish there were more museums like that in Vilnius.

“Money, Money, Money !!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

Dear All,

Have you always ever wanted to know about how money was like few centuries ago? How were the coins minted? The answers are in this very interesting museum with plenty of coins and currencies coming from all over the world on display. Don't feel like seeing coins? Don't worry, there are also bundles of banknotes ....
Counterintuitively, the museum is FREE which is another good reason to rush in !!!

Enjoy!

“Well presented information”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

This nice little FREE museum is a great place to spend an hour or so. Some nice interactive displays like 'How much you would be worth if made of gold' & nice interactive world map with currency & other data.
