I attended a conference and stayed in this hotel. It is a lovely place, with friendly reception staff. The food is good, though the bar is very quiet. The location is superb. Excellent restaurants are a few minutes walk. There is a supermarket across the street for any bits and pieces or for alcohol and tobacco, for those so inclined. Several touris spots are close as well, such as the cathedral and some museums. The conference facilities are second to none, with top class IT, break out rooms, larger rooms etc.

Superb hotel, stylish room with quality fittings, flatscreen TV and nice shower room.
Ideally located next to town centre.
Wouldn't get a decent B&B in the UK for what we paid per night for this hotel.

It was one of the latest Soviet hotel: just completly refurbished to modern, efficient, confortable, spotless clean Scandinavian style: what a great change! Congratulations! This hotel belongs to a local hotel chain.
Young, friendly, English speaking staff.
The guarded and free parking lot just aroung the corner at hotel side, with a police station as valuable neighbour, is a welcome asset for guests: but it is not large so in case the hotel is crowded you may not find room for your car (there are several spots reserved for nearby casino's VIP customers and visiting coaches).
Easy to reach by car.
Breakfast, with plenty of fine food available, served till 10 in the restaurant on ground floor (facing the parking lot) ... but the staff there (many and nice people) keep smiling to you even if you come some minutes late (well, you will no longer find real tea bags and orange juice ...).
Standard room is just with shower, with only two towels per person and no extra pillow and light blanket to replace the standard one that was too warm for me in summer (I had to keep air conditioning cooler than wished): room would feel "small" for Americans but it is confortable; and with a bit more expensive rate you can get a much larger "superior" room just in case.
Couples: be ready to local bedding habits! No double bed, but two tightly coupled single beds (almost king size is the final result), with individual duvets (I bet you can get quickly accustomed to that, and you may even like it).
Large size LCD TV: some German and English language TV channels available.
Complimentary WiFi internet connection everywhere in the hotel (I could not try it) and in the lobby there is a complimentary PC with fast web connection ... unfortunatly it is very popular with other guests too! Be ready to wait long ... in the meanwhile you can order drinks at reasonable prices at the bar.
The hotel location is just few steps away from the Kaunas basilica church and the East end of main shopping avenue (pedestrian area): bus stop is at hotel front door and by taxi you can go to the old city center in 5 minutes (for about 6 euro).
If you can get a good rate (as I did) just book and enjoy :-) I spent 4 nights there: it was a pleasant stay.

Great breakfast, friendly helpful staff, good location, decent clean rooms. great value for money. Only downside was service in restaurant was very, very slow (an hour per course!), would recomend.
