“Customer Service needs improvement; otherwise a nice atmosphere and decent food”
We had a dinner party of 10 people and it was quite a disappointment to us. Although the food itself wasn't bad (menu is simple but soups/pizzas/salads are decent) the customer service was really disappointing. All of us had different variations of meal arrangements: some had soups and then steaks or salads while others had pizzas only. People who had soups/salads/steaks got everything first, they finished their meals and the others who ordered pizzas waited for about an hour for them to arrive. Basically, while some people were eating others were staring...
Once complained to the waiter about a long waiting time, instead of simply apologizing and trying to calm us down, he instantly got defensive and tried to argue that it wasn't an hour or whatever. This is a common problem in Lithuania, customer service people don't understand the golden rule: "customer is always right." If he simply said sorry instead of going defensive I would not be writing this review now. Another sad thing is that after we finished the drinks we ordered at the very beginning - no one even cared to offer more drinks for us until we lost our patience and decided to just leave. The waiter was not attentive at all. It's sad because a party of ten people could potentially leave a lot of tips if you cared enough to provide them with a good service not to mention the fact that more wine orders (if offered at the time our glasses were empty) could have increased our bill significantly.
Once again, although the food wasn't bad I would probably avoid going to this restaurant because of the poor customer service. I understand the waiter was young and probably inexperienced, so it's not really his fault. A lot of restaurants in Kaunas don't understand that at the end of the day your waiters are also sales people and if they don't try to offer more food/drinks to your customers your restaurant is not going to make as much profit as it could.
To sum up: go there if you don't care about a good/attentive customer service :)
