Spurgos are traditional Lithuanian doughnuts made with "varske" cheese curd. The restaurant can be found along Laisves Ave. It was small and reminded me of a diner from the 50's. Various types of spurgos are served there. I liked the typical round globed shaped "varske" doughnuts and the ones filled with apples! Very, very good! I had fruit tea with my doughnuts and bought a few more to have later as a snack in my hotel room. That was a great idea!!! YUM!!!
