Hotel Epicure, Wolkerova 19, Nove Zamky, Slovakia

Nove Zamky is a small town in the south west of Slovakia - about 50
miles from Bratislava, some of it looks a little run down but that seems a
throwback to years gone by....
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the couple who run it are so very
helpful. We were going to a concert locally and they even went out and
bought the tickets from the venue in advance of our arrival as we could
not book over the internet.

They speak excellent English and the hotel itself has to be seen to be
believed. The rooms are delightful, big and full of expensive fittings
(the two deluxe rooms we had were the biggest I have ever stayed in
around the world). The menu is extensive and freshly prepared and the bar
is well stocked.
This hotel is an undiscovered treasure compared to the others in Nove Zamky (or Slovakia really) - they don't come anywhere near....... I travel a lot on business and
although this was a weekend break with friends I have been very pleased with the
cleanliness and excellent service.
There is a large garden/patio area which must be lovely in the summer.
Its in a quiet location, 15 mins walk out of the centre and down a side
street in a residential area but we walked to and from the concert (at
2am !!) and we never felt uncomfortable.

1st class place - puts 5 star hotels in Bratislava to shame!!!
