My wife and I had the pleasure of eating dinner here this evening. We live here in Kosice, and have been wanting to expand our horizons and we are very glad we did! Every aspect of our meal was well prepared, and plated with an artists' eye for detail and originality. We both had soup, my wife had the creamy mushroom and I had the seasonal coconut shrimp soup, and both were excellent. Folowed by a prosciutto plate with very tasty cheese, pesto, olives, and sun dried tomatoes. I had the Argentinian ribeye which I have to say was fantastic. Perfectly cooked throughout and nicely seasoned. My wife had a pork dish on toast (I can't remember the french term for it from the menu) and the sauce that accompanied that dish was excellent. We had a very nice bottle of the house Cabernet Savignon (from Slovakia none-the-less!) that only cost around 10 euros.
All of this was served professionally by our friendly waiter Jano (John). He always seemed to appear at just the right moment when we needed our wine topped off or to take our plates away.
All in all we will definitely be going back. Good food, large portions, great atmosphere, super service, and all at a very decent price (Two soups, two mineral waters, a bottle of wine, an appetizer, two entrees, dessert, and coffee came to 60 euros.)
