Only stayed here for 1 night after being on holiday in Vienna, before flying home out of Bratislava airport. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the entrance into Bratislava's beautiful old town. It is a very old hotel tucked in a side street, but our room was very modern with up to date bathroom and facilities, fridge, safe and tv. It was very comfortable and cosy and would have loved to have stayed longer! Breakfast wasnt as good as other hotels we have stayed in but was adequate and for the price we paid for such a lovely little hotel in a brilliant location, we couldnt really moan.
The streets in the old town are very atmospheric, with plenty of places to eat and drink and all are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Prices are very, very reasonable. The castle is within walking distance (albeit steep in places!) but is well worth the effort.
We stayed midweek so weren't bothered by the bar across the road or any stag parties as other reviews have mentioned, and can imagine that it would definitely spoil your stay, but please don't be put off visiting sometime between Sunday to Thursday as you would be missing out on a beautiful place. If we returned we wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again.
