“Reasonable price, good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013 via mobile

My son chose this "Botel" since it was unusual. There were three of us in a room which was small and compact but it was comfortable and quieter than I expected. Our room was on the street facing side which did get bright morning sun but it was not noisy. The breakfast was good and simple and the staff very pleasant. It was an easy walk to the downtown and other sites. I liked the location and the novelty of staying on the boat. It was convenient and a great value. I would ask for a room on the waterside next time for the view.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

Chose this accommodation based on the reviews I had read and was not disappointed. Whilst a little apprehensive, as soon as we saw the sizable room and a window onto the Danube our holiday break began. The restaurant was good and breakfasts although simple (scrambled, fried or boiled eggs, spicy or corn dog sausage, hams, cheese, cereals, yogurts and drinks) provided a decent start to the day. There was always someone on the desk for polite assistance and information. It was easy to forget that this was a boat, only the compact corridors tended give it away. The cabin room was very clean with a clean and compact shower room. We stayed in February with deep snow outside but were very warm and comfortable at all times. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room, so now you know you can work around it. Staff will make a drink for you at any reasonable hour. Trams and buses are available outside and the reception will arrange taxis at the best rates, Things to do: The castle, museums, shops and bars are great. A visit to Devin Castle (1e on the 28 bus), or Vienna (13e on the train) gave great variation. Around town people are friendly and will try to speak English. This is very much a lived in city so usual precautions should be observed, although we had no worries and had a great stay.

Room Tip: Ask for River facing

very good located, in the heart of the city. the bottom floor rooms are renovated, very big, toilet is small(but it.s a botel). very clean. keep the toilet door closed, there cames a bad smell from there. breakfast is very good, the view is awesome over the danube and the tower bridge. if you are lucky they have 4 free parking places. personnel is very friendly

Room Tip: choose bottom level rooms, they are renovated

I spent 3 nights at Botel Gracia in September. The location is excellent - a very short walk to the centre of town and with a fantastic view across the Danube at night. The room was great for me as a solo traveller and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and a good selection and the restaurant had good food & drink at reasonable prices. I would stay here again.

We picked Botel Gracia because of the cheap room rate and the fact it is right on the Danube river, with great views of the bridge and UFO tower. The rooms are simple, but comfortable and it's kind of cool to have the water rushing past your window. It's pretty quiet on the river side, hardly any noise. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It is the perfect location to jump into the Old town, simply walk across the road next to the bridge and turn right. It will take you directly towards the cafes and St Michael's gate. If you continue further and travel left under the bridge, you can follow the signs to the Castle and a great view of the city at the top. The Botel is ideally situated to see everything in the city.

Room Tip: Ask for a river side room as it's quiet and has a great view!

Rooms were a good size, food was good, drinks were the best prices in town. All in all an excellent place to stay, I would stay again anytime. The staff were just brilliant, smiles and very accommodating.

Three persons shared a room comfortably and without other huge facilities such as swimming pool, gardens and other stuff, because its a botel. Simply enjoy the view of the city and the UFO tower. Its amazing. Really helpful staff in all terms. And the hotel WIFI is the best I have seen so far.

Room Tip: Go for the lower most deck for cool night. Or go to the top floor restaurant for a beautiful view.
