“Great location for old town.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

Hotel in great location overlooking river Danube and the old town. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast offers a good choice for all. Reasonable rates but probably reflects need for a bit of a refurb internally?- bedroom looking a little tired and would benefit from refurb - partic heavily stained carpet! However bathroom lovely and I suspect has been upgraded ? In any event it is great for the price and I would stay again!

We enjoyed this hotel very much. It had a great location close to the bus stop and walkable to all the main sites. The staff was very friendly and was even able to give us or room early (at 10am!). It is nothing really fancy, but it met our needs.

Ok, you cannot get a better location for exploring Bratislava but the hotel needs a lick of paint if it is going to display the Radisson name. Our room was ok but the carpet was years old and the general decor was tired. The carpet in the hall on floor 1 desperately needs an oil change; it was in very poor shape. Good location, decent price and the Square bar/restaurant was actually very good. However, which city centre bar closes at 10pm on a Saturday? As reported elsewhere the breakfast is surprisingly good and well stocked right up to a generous 11am finishing time at the weekends.

Room Tip: One on the outside perimeter so you do not look into a dull courtyard. 4th floor best for views othe...

Really enjoyed my stay here at Park Inn Danube, it is in the heart of the city surrounded by plenty of nice restaurants bars and clubs.

We stayed here for a week on a firends stag do and I would highly reccommend coming here for this type of event. A loverly looking city with great bars and nightlife.

You can also get a boat whish takes you to Vienna Austria in 40 minutes which is on 25 Euros.

We found the best way to explore the city was on Segways with a guided tour and this was a really good day out!

The hotel itself was nice and breakfast was good and came with free wifi!. The pool and spa area where good but quite small however we didnt spend any time in the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view ! Best Rooms!

Property: Big hotel property right by the river, a short walk to the old town centre. In terms of location, great! However, not too much of a "view" of anything around unless you are on a higher floor or on the river-facing side.

Hotel Room: Room was decently large with a double bed, TV, coffee table & chairs. Internet access was via a cable only. The bathroom was also big & comfortable. However, nothing was spectacular or outstanding. The safe in our room was out of commission!

Service: Prompt room-service, helpful polite staff. Reception desk was always full of smiling staff - ready to help. Concierge helpful too.

Breakfast: If you do not eat egg or meat, this spread can be a tad disappointing. Bread & cereal is all you get with limited choice of fresh fruits. However, the staff was very attentive & helpful here as well.

Spa/Gym: Did not use.

Overall: A good stay if you are looking to use the hotel only to come back to sleep at night after a day out in Bratislava. However, if that's the only reason to book a hotel, there are other cheaper options available too.

just back from a short city break to Bratislava. we stayed at the Park Inn Danube - right in the centre of the old town, near the castle and St Martin's Cathedral. The rooms are big and comfortable if a little dated. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful - arranging cheap taxis back tot the airport at the end of our stay. The breakfasts were especially good, with lots of choice - fresh fruit, dried fruit nuts & seeds, cheeses, salami ham and chorizo, boiled eggs, cereal, 3 types of bread plus pastries and croissants. hot food was bacon, sausage scrambled egg, mushrooms and tomato, or you could request omelettes with any filling, which were quite excellent. Soya milk was available on request and a good range of hot teas, coffees and juices. The pool was (as mentioned in other reviews) uniformly deep at around 1.3 metres - great for swimming, but not so good for children. Some of the rooms were a little noisy on Saturday night, when the nightclub located on the ground floor adjacent to the hotel stayed busy until the small hours. Access to the castle. cathedral, central square and all of the old town was very easy walking up quaint cobbled streets. We ate out every night and drank at Bar 17, just across street so can't comment on any other food at the hotel. Altogether a great hotel for a short break

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room ask for one facing the central courtyard

Have just returned from Bratislava and had an enjoyable stay. Hotel as already mentioned is slightly worn, however, rooms are a good size and clean. Staff very pleasant and efficient, we had problems with our room safe, within minutes were at our door. Breakfast very good, with plenty of choice. Hotel next to Bus Station where you can go to Vienna for 12 Euros, get off at Bus Terminal (VIB) cross road to Underground and for another 2.40 get into Vienna Stephansplatz within minutes. Train on right hand side.;
Bar 17 is across and further down from hotel, good beer and meals are also good and great value. Also try ice cream shop next door, lovely coffee and gateaux. Scottish Bar had a very good band playing on Saturday night.
If looking for a peaceful and relaxing City Break then this is the place to come, 2 nights is enough if not going to Vienna.
