“Good Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

I stayed there in November 2010, found it very comfortable in a very good place, very close to everywhere I wanted to go to, it was a business trip and found internet at the room that was really helpful not just the reception, a clean hotel, the breakfast was really good with good varieties, I stayed there for 4 nights they were really nice for the value, what I hated the most is that the toilet was divided into 2 units at the room but it was ok for a short stay and even very short stay at the room itself

Room Tip: cheap, on Danube view is really nice

Hotel is well sited, but the reception is a reminder of the soviet era: minimal interest or service and no smiles. The rooms seem identical but location is critical: 'castle view' means overlooking a very noisy motorway about 75m away. Our room was grossly overheated (October) so we had to open the window and suffer the constant roar of traffic. Never again...

Room Tip: Avoid castle view or bridge, better facing the river or overlooking the entrance carpark (sounds gri...

I'd previously stayed in the Park Inn Berlin (Alexanderplatz), which was excellent. This hotel was not quite so tidy & modern, but did provide great value for our long weekend. The location could not be better - next to the UFO bridge & river and just a few minutes walk from the old centre.
The rooms were very clean and had good beds & facilities. I did not use the sports facilities (they charge 9 euro, even for guests), but the bar & breakfast areas were perfectly adequate. The staff were very cheerful & helpful. Our room was slightly noisy and good have done with updating. The food at breakfast wasn't great, but typical of European hotels in this price range.
I would recommend staying here if price is a consideration.

I stayed overnight at the Park Inn Hotel. It is ideally situated in the old part of Bratislava, the prettiest part of the city that attracts tourists. The rooms are spacious with all basic amenities but nothing extra. Similarly the bath and toilet are modern and spacious. However, toiletries availability is minimal and of poor quality. The breakfast offers a wide choice to satisfy most people. Staff are courteous and efficient but for some reason unable to smile! I would not hesitate staying at this hotel again

We have recently got back from a 2 night stay at the Park Inn Danube, before we went I was very wary due to very conflicting reviews but I needed have been. The hotel is in an excellent position right on the Danube and just 3-5 mins walk from the old town. Our room was clean and a good size and we had clean towels both days, some parts of the hotel are a bit tired but on the whole it's very good. The breakfast was good and plentiful with lots of choice and although the restaurant isn't very big we had no trouble getting a table. The staff are 1st class especially on reception, very helpful. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the Castle and the Danube. There is a bit of noise from the road it didn't stop us sleeping. The advertising banner which was on the side of the hotel has been removed so nothing the block the view of the river. All in all a good hotel for a reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel.

Do not stay there. It is a moderate Facility where you will hear the noise from outside and the climate controll in the room. Also in my room 50% of the lights were not working and the rest was making some weird noise. Breakfast is very, very bad - only old bread, lousy egg dishes and to less room for the guests. Look for a better option.

Room Tip: Take another hotel!!!
