“Go inside to see the stained glass windows.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

This cathedral does not look too grandieuse from the outside, but once you are inside it's a breath taking experience. I especially enjoyed the cool stained glass windows. Best of all; it's free.

“Unlike what you might expect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

The building does not give the impression of national pride that might be expected but, perhaps, that makes it worth reflecting on why. There were four or five security staff present during our visit, presumably because of the Czech president's visit.

“Interesting Church”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Nice and centrally located. Very interesting inside, quite a few items to look at as well as the main section in the church. The treasury had some interesting items and we visited the Catacombs too; quite stuffy and a little creepy but worth going into. The body of John the Merciful is here and there is more information about John the Merciful in the main part of the church.

“Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

An amazing building. Simply has to be seen if you are in Bratislava and this is still a working church so you can still go to mass if you want. The building itself is outstanding and a complete refurb of the exterior has just been finished.

“Beautiful and close by”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

This was a fine Cathedral with fine art and history. Even a Relic .
Someone cut off Kaiser Franz Josephs hand...I wondered about that .
