“Great hotel based mainly for business people as a little distant from historic old town.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

Great modern hotel but not as close as Manu other hotels to historic part of city. . Staff a bit mixed but from excellent to mediocre! Rooms modern and well furnished and equipped. Good restaurant but drinks pricey at bar. Public spaces impressive .

New hotel located 15 minutes from where you want to be. Is close to the rail station. Old town not close by. Upgraded to business lounge. Don't even think about it. Lounge served orange juice and premade oven pastries around the clock. Not a lounge. Room was quiet and clean. Friendly staff.

I had an enjoyable three night stay at the hotel. comfortable bed. Inviting lobby. Decent breakfast. Excellent staff at front desk. But I agree with another reviewer, the bathroom was odd. Glass shower looking into the bedroom. Apparently some rooms had curtains you could pull, but mine did not. I was glad I didn't have to share a room.

Approx €60+€3 tax/night – stand double and breakfast – 2 night stay

Location is within 5min walk from the North train station and about 13-15min walk to the old town centre. Hotel and rooms have a modern boutique feel.

The room was decent sized and had its standard features tv, mini-bar, safe, desk, etc. Free wifi/lan in the rooms. We had a room at the back of the hotel so very quiet. The furnishing and layout was very clique with a glass partition between the shower and the bed – there were blinds that can be drawn if you wanted additional privacy. There was also a funky painting over the bed. One slight negative was that the towels were very thin and not very absorbent.

Breakfast the next morning was excellent. Lots of choice from pastries, bread, hot food, cold meats, salads, fruits, cereals, tea and coffee. The restaurant also had a great vibe and décor. There was a huge selection of wines in the wine fridge; unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to try the restaurant.
Overall, a fantastic hotel near the train station. Great boutique design and good sleep was had by all. It may not be in the old city centre, but was a short walk away.

Hotel was very well - hotel is very well located - it is close to the railway station and transport museum and 10 min a walk to the old town. Bratislava was very well too, except one macho, who blocade our car: Very nice places were Kamzik - look out tower and Bratislava castle.

The bathroom is so weird in this hotel it is what is going to stick in my mind. I just can't think what was going through the designer's mind. There is a glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom so standing in the shower you are looking through a large glass wall into the rather small bedroom. Behind the shower is the sink and toilet.. and there are some rather inadequate curtains which close on the bedroom, not bathroom side. Going to the bathroom at night, you are flooding the bedroom with light. There is a huge central shower head way high up on the ceiling of the shower and also a hand held shower with a shower head the size of a dinner plate. There is nowhere to put anything, no shelves or surfaces, quite frustrating. The bedroom is incredibly dingy and I was looking for lights to turn on. On the plus side the windows open, albeit not far, and in spite of opening onto a central square of hotel windows, the room was really quiet. Breakfast was adequate but the staff are clearing away briskly virtually as you take your last bite, or as in my case, before I'd finished. For me the location was perfect as a short walk from the train station, but it's a haul to the main tourist centre.

This hotel was perfect for our 1 night stay in Bratislava. Staff were very friendly and hotel was less than a 2 minute walk to the central railway station (which was handy for us as we were travelling to Vienna).

The room had a modern feel to it and the bathroom was very clean. Lighting in the room was slightly limited but that didn't really affect us as we were only there for one night. They also had a storage room where you could leave your luggage after check out if required.

If the railway station is not a priority for you then you may want to choose somewhere a bit more central as it is about 10-15 mins from the central area.

Overall, for the price range we were looking at we thought it was very good value for money.
