“Must be the Best place to stay when in Bratislava!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013 via mobile

We stayed 4 days in this great hotel, located just by the river. The interiour, the design & the style at this hotel might just be the best I've ever seen in a hotel. We have stayed at a few Kempinski Hotels, & this is in our top 3 ;-) The staff are so friendly, helpfull & attentive all around. The room is large with great beds & a lovely bathroom as Well. The Zion Spa is a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. An out-door pool would have been great to have during summer. The only thing we missed, was complimentry coffee & tea in the room- everything else was perfect & the well-known Kempinski standard.

Stayed here on business for 1 night earlier this week. Compared to other Kempinski hotels (and majority of other 'chain' hotels) this is the best one I have stayed in and the most reasonable cost.

I had a standard room, bed was huge, furnishings top quality and the bathroom has a wow factor. Took me a while to work out how to use the buttons in the bathroom, no taps, but got there in the end.

Rolls takes you into the centre of Bratislava for free, or its a 10 minute walk along the river. The only meal I ate here was breakfast, but it was superb. Looking forward to staying here again and would definitely recommend.

The establishment distinguishes itself from the rest with finishing touches not found in many other hotels, like the detailed turn down service, the size of the rooms, the quality of finishes, modern appliances, currency of equipment, sizeable bathrooms, and chauffeur service. The rooms are huge and beautifully furnished in a modern style, yet it exudes old world charm. The breakfast buffet is not for the faint hearted or weight conscious guest, unless you have the restraint of a military soldier! The food was excellent and the variety enough to satisfy any need or requirement. Well located within walking distance of tram stop taking you into the historical part of town, with the option of using the hotel's beautiful Phantom Rolls Royce, delivering you in style wherever your fancy takes you!

Very nice hotel - rooms were stunning, great pool, front desk staff were lovely and the Rolls is a cool extra. But the hotel isn't located in the nicest area and there were some dodgy looking types in the bar and around the hotel generally - not the hotel's fault but it did make me a touch uncomfortable. Pool and the Rolls nearly make up for it though!

The Hotel lies beautifully next to the Danube, so getting a Room with a view on the river is recommended. My room was very nicely fitted, with enough space in the room, a flatscreen TV with personal welcome message, and a huge bathroom with walk-in shower. The hotel features two highlights.
First, the SPA, which is on the top floor and features a swimming pool, a sauna, a steam bath, whirlpools and a bar from which you can order drinks to relax while you enjoy the view. Second, if you are lucky enough to get it, the complimentary Rolls-Royce transfer to town. This is however, as stated, a game of luck, since there is only one Rolls and you can use it on a first come first served basis only.

The breakfast is nice, with all the choices you would expect from a hotel in this category, including sparkling wine. The staff is outstandingly friendly and helpful and almost universally speaks very good English.
The only downside is the location, which gives for a nice view, but also makes it quite the walk to town. The Rolls-Royce service helps, but on a rainy day, getting back by foot from town isn't the best experience. If you are arriving by train, either use their BMW transfer service (only 15 Euros!) or, if you want to just take a cab, be sure to use one with a company name printed on the side, otherwise you risk getting ripped off.

the hotel is very well designed, comfortable rooms, nice staff. If I am asked what were the best 3 service in the hotel; I would say, bathroom in the room, shutle car to get the downtown and nice view of Danube river.
congrats to hotel staff for their professionalism.

this hotel is beautifully design. I love every inch of it. Rooms are spacious and mattresses are some of the best you can get. Floor heating in bathroom is nice detail. All the staff is helpful and very professional. River Bank restaurant serves very good food- breakfast and also tasting menu were great. But keep in mind that all the food and drinks are extremely overpriced. This is a thing I never understood in 5 star hotels. You can get the same quality food for significantly less money in couple restaurants in the city. All in all- Kempinski Bratislava is lovely and luxurious place which you will be longing for from time to time:)
