A small, historic town on the river Duna/Danube, known locally as the town of seven church spires.
I've been visiting the town regularly since moving to Hungary ten years ago, and enjoy the small cafes and little gallaries, the cobbled streets and old churches.
It is getting more touristy -- there have always been parties of discrete elderly Austrians and Germans, and they are unobtrusive compared to Brits. My last visit was plagued by hordes of young, wealthy, very rude Russians. Still, that may have been a one off, and I will continute to visit, especially in the winter.
The town also hosts a 'museum' of houses, that have been moved to the area as acts of preservation.
So to come, a zen garden.
