This is a friendly guest house in a vineyard. The owner was delighted to show us around his winemaking unit (250,000 bottles per year) with generous tastings. You are left pretty much to your own devices here - a buffet breakfast (make your own hot drinks) and just wander around the place and relax. The bedrooms were pleasantly decorated and although the building as a whole was showing signs of wear this didn't really detract from the experience of staying in the centre of a wine growing region. It is about a 1 hour drive from Pecs. Perhaps the relaxed style was strectched a bit too far when we wanted to pay up and move on only to find that the owner had nipped out for an hour & we just had to wait but I don't think people in this part of the world are used to rushing! We did have one evening meal - it was Ok but not memorable and you could do better by eating elsewhere locally.
