5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013 via mobile

Such a yummy little gem! This restaurant was reccommended to us by the hostel we were staying in, and it was perfect. Hungarian food, cute little restaurant, cheap drinks and cheap meal! The tastiest we had out in Budapest! Highly reccomend going!

“Have to try when visiting Budapest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

After caving in the morning we got really hungry and decided to try this restaurant. the result is this restaurant is a must try. the food is really nice and portion is huge. if you really hungry you can order the meat platter for two and is really cheap and the portion you will get is humongous. will come back to this restaurant again next time visit budapest.

“beer in HOT mug - if you are into that, i recommend it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

I always have good things to say about this pub and recommended it to friends etc. the food is good and the music is great. but on my last visit i received my beer in a very HOT mug!?! i did not complain but the one barman noticed my problem and asked if he could pour me another. so i agreed. the other barman was not as sympathetic and simply poured my beer from the hot mug into another glass. i now had a lukewarm flat beer. anyway, i will no longer recommend this to friends and visitors as a great place for a beer....

“Good, cheap food in big portions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

Kiadó is amazingly cheap with huge portions of good, tasty food. The food is mostly traditional Hungarian and is exceptionally good for value for money.

The staff are not particularly friendly or unfriendly but speak reasonable English. It seems to be quite a quirky little pub and while opposite the busy Liszt Ferenc tér, is quite quiet. The interior is quite dark but lends itself to quite a warm and homely atmosphere.

Definitely try the gnocchi!
