We went to Spoon for Valentines day dinner, for which we were provided with a set menu offering a small but satisfying range of choices for three courses, plus a free cocktail. Upon arrival, our coats were taken and we were lead to our table which was right next to the window so we could admire the beautiful view. The food was sumptuous, three of the best courses we ate during our entire stay in Budapest. One thing- be careful of where your money is going! We were asked if we'd like still or sparkling water (rather than if we would like water at all) and were charged quite highly at the end for this despite only drinking one glass-worth between us. The waiter also tried to suggest a more expensive wine than the one we chose, stating that it was the same price despite us seeing on the menu that it was 1500HUF extra. Other than this, we had an amazing time.
