Description: Dionysos moved to the Pest bank of the River Danube on New Year's Eve 1993 and has since delighted the dwellers of our city with delicacies of Greek cuisine and delicious wine of its vineyards. The air is filled with the fragrance of char-grilled meats and fishes, fresh-cut vegetables and crispy-baked homestyle bread. Thanks to the friendly atmosphere, diners chit-chat casually around the tables, which blends pleasantly into the melodies of Greek music playing in the background. It is good to be in this restaurant. The pampering feeling of authentic entertainment accompanies the guests from the moment they enter up until they leave. We hope you visit us soon so that we may entertain you for a few hours here in little Greece of Budapest!

“Perfect Dinner in a great atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012 via mobile

We visited this Greek restaurant on our last evening in budapest. We chose all of our restaurants with tripadvisor and this was one of the best. Service and food were great and the price was really fair. We paid about 20€ per person for wine, starter and main course.

“Fantastic food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

Found this great Greek restaurant on the Danube - wonderful delicious food delivered by happy friendly helpful staff who made us feel at home. Best Greek food we've had outside of Greece. Highly recommended and also has reasonable prices.

“Excellent food and a nice ambience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

Went to this restaurant on Friday 12th October, we didn't have a reservation but they were able to give us a table for 2. It did fill up very quickly after that. I had grilled calamari starter which was great and my partner had 'little fishes in flour' like whitebait which were also good. I had prawn and salmon skewers for main which were lovely and my partner had veal steaks which he also enjoyed. No complaints on the food and looking at what was brought out to other tables it all looked wonderful. We were too full for pudding but they brought out some grapes while we waited for the bill which were very nice. We did wait quite a while to pay but they were busy. The final nice touch was that they gave me a very nice flower as we were leaving. We enjoyed it very much.

“Greece on the Danube”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

From the street, it looks like a little store front cafe. Inside, it's big, but the main thing was the big flavors the chef coaxed out of the simple, honest food. The staff is dressed in white, the feeling is all ocean blue and bright white so that you get the feeling of Greece. Fresh fish cooked to order and deboned at the table. Mounds of fresh greens and grilled vegetables. Fresh, clean, flavorful. It was, to my surprise, the best meal I had in Hungary!
