“nice central hotel, close to everything”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

myself and my partner stayed here for 4 nights in December during the Christmas markets. It is not on a very swanky street but it has a lot of character. Plus the best bar in Budapest is directly across the street, which was a nice surprise.

The room we were in was on the top floor so lost a little space to the balcony, but the room itself was lovely. The bed was comfy and the bathroom modern.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone that who wants to walk to walk the city.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel. The staff was extremely unfriendly and not helpful in the least. Our room faced a busy street and noisy at all hours of the night. Our room reminded me of a college dormitory room with cheap furniture and not a good location for site seeing. How this hotel ever got a 4 star rating, I will never know but I would never stay here again. I would personally rate them a 1 or 2 star hotel.

Ask for a room not over the street when checking in, can be noisy. Staff all friendly and helpful. Great location for getting everywhere near all main transportation. Breakfast plenty of choice to suit all,

Excellent location for city visits. However, there is much room for improvement.
Rooms are very small and mine was in need of repairs and a thorough cleaning of the carpet.
Reception is understaffed, bordering on the chaotic.
Breakfast has good bread but coffee is terrible and there is no fresh juice.

The hotel was modern and nice. We especially liked the breakfast! Will be coming back :) The staff was kind and helpful. The location of the hotel was also very good. It was easy to everywhere by foot.

Great location: close to hostels but at a walking distance from true **** and ***** Hotels.
Terrible (often included) breakfast.
Untrained and not professional personnel.
Arranged a fare with confirmation mail and demanded a higher price threatening to charge to confirmation credit card.
If you plan staying here (just for the location), be sure to pay in advance and pretend a written paper stating you have payed all fees!

It takes you five minutes by foot to reach the "hub" metro station of Budapest - Deak Ferenc Ter. The hotel is located in a nice area with loads of cafés and restaurants.

Elegant hotel, cosy rooms and friendly staff, the only thing that was not really four star was the breakfast - it was OK, but not really amazing.
