“An excellent place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

I stayed here in December 2012 and again in Feb 2013 and I loved it both times. The apartment was very well maintained, comfortable and felt roomy.Had a small gym with a pool and sauna - adequate but small
It is in a very convenient location for both trams and buses although to use the metro requires a 5-10 minute walk.
I stayed in the deluxe apartment which had 2 bathrooms, a bedroom and living room with a kitchen area which included a coffee maker. There was no kettle but when I asked one was provided immediately. The apartment had a balcony overlooking the courtyard I found the staff extremely helpful and very friendly.
Positives - very friendly staff, comfortable living area and excellent food served in Chess restaurant
Negatives - low signal wi-fi, pillows not very comfortable, breakfast was ok but not worth the money
With all this in mind I plan to stay here again.

“Beautiful Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

This is one f the lovliest hotels my husband and I have stayed in for a weekend break. From arriving the entrance and garden is lovely and very well maintained to the immediate polite and informative staff. The decor is very well done and top quality throughout the hotel, from the entrance, dining room, swimming pool and apartment rooms with balcony. The position of the htel is great, not right in the centre, but only a stroll through the streets, which make you feel you are in the jewish sector of Budapest, or down the main road street to the main shopping areas, the choice is yours. Lots of little pubs and restaurants tucked away, offering lots of choice at very good prices. the service and polite people was excellent everywhere we went. we didnt have breakfast, but the food did look very nice, we ate out, from just over the road in a very small cafe and freshly baked coissants or further into the main town and had a breakfast platter.

Room Tip: We had a upgrade to a superior room with Balcony, very spacious and looked over the lovely garden.

“Nice hotel in a good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

Spend two wonderful nights here. Our 2-room-suite was cosy and clean, the service was friendly and competent and the hotel is just a 5 minute walk away from Andrassy ut. Will definitely come back next time!

“Not 5 Star!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Although pleasant enought this is not in any way a 5 star hotel.

Pros:
Clean room - I had a Superior Suite
Friendly Staff

Cons:
Pool is not in any way what website suggests - I didnt bother going for a swim after being in the sauna as the pool was not appealing at all.
Sauna is tiny - enough room for 2 to 3 people at a push.
No phone in room = no room service
No concierge at all
Bathrooms shabby and terrible shower.

I travel a lot and spend several nights a week in hotels. From my experience this is in no way a five star hotel. At best a basic four star. Its fine for a business trip, I wouldnt bring my wife for a romantic weekend.

“Great stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

We had a last minute booking to this place last weekend. It has a good location to go out and a lot of bars/clubs on walking distance. Public transportation is also close. Enjoyed the pool/hot tub/sauna! Has a friendly 24/7 staff.
