I recently visited Budapest for business and was booked at the Queen's Court. This hotel was awesome! It had great service, good food, and was a very relaxing atmosphere. It's an easy walk to the center of town and the river from this location. The only caution I have is with their internet service. My coworker and I both got a nasty computer virus the first night we were there and it shut down our computers. We believe it came via the wireless connection. If I go to Budapest again I'll stay here.

Beautiful hotel in a great area of Budapest. It is steps away from Franz Lizst Music Academy, near many trendy bars and restaurants. It is also close to the Terror House Museum. Anyways, the hotel is brand spanking new. Very luxurious, very clean. We were surprised we payed what we payed. Hotel is AIR CONDITIONED (you will appreciate this if you are travelling in the summer), considering that is not in the european standard. Restaurant is upscale, excellent service. Staff is very helpful, very attentive. Rooms have a mini kitchen with a mini fridge and a microwave. Coffee machine in the room. We felt we were staying at a hotel in the US! It also has a pool and a spa. This hotel will probably become more expensive as time goes on so stay there while it is affordable.

For a business trip I have found this hotel as a new member of Summit Hotels & Resorts and I was surprised that it was brand new when I arrived.
I was greeted by the fron desk staff in a very professional and polite manner. The room was nicely decorated, with a kitchen (China, Cuttlery, Dish-Washer, Microwave, Stove) basically all you need. The bathroom was very spacious and you could see that the hotel has invested a lot in quality. Flatscreen- TV and PC hook up with wires from the front desk - perfect for a business traveller.
But since I have never been to Budapest before, I wanted to see the city and I found out that all the major sights are within walking distance. As I arrived fairly late the Restarant wass til open (until 22:30h) and offered a very creative and well tasting choice of delicious dishes. All staff speaks very well English and as mentioned before are very kind and polite.
I can very much recommend this hotel as an insider hotel for guests who want to be treated nicely and who want to enjoy a brand new experience in Budapest.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention the nice courtyard (very quiet) and the wellness, sauna and pool area with a great choice of machines and treadmills as well as a very decently arranged pool with a endless stream system for good excercise. I never saw a pool with a chandelier above before...that's Budapest :-)

  • Liked — Friendly Service, staff, new style of rooms, wellness area with pool and whirlpool
  • Disliked — the taxi driver did not know the hotel - make sure to tell them the exact address
