“Uber modern...Uber comfortable!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2012

A very well situated hotel close to the river and the parliament buildings.
The hotel is very modern and minimalist in style, unusually it does match the pictures!!
All the public areas and rooms are well finished and comfortable, the only criticism is the temperature of our room, it was like an oven, even turning the air con down to 15 did nt make it any cooler!
There is plenty of on road parking outside the hotel which is metered 8am-8pm Mon-Fri (they are on the ball checking tickets!).
I would certainly go back to this hotel, we have stayed at the Radisson, The Grand Royal and Le Meridien and the Hilton and I can rate this hotel as the same standard as those mentioned, the reception staff are excellent, everywhere is clean, the buffet breakfast was fine, the free to use computers great and very comfortable beds.
I would go back.

Excellent hotel, great location, friendly & helpful staff. We had a room overlooking a street but it was not noisy. Rooms have been recently refurb'd I think so great shower en suite to good size, modern design room. Breakfast was excellent quality & buffet to help your self. Fresh fruit, cooked meats, cheese, yogurts, make your own muesli & a few cooked items (did not try those so no comment possible). The bar was comfortable and there was also a 'library' or quiet room. Shame we didn't have time to check out the sauna etc or I am sure we would give this hotel 5 stars. Only there 2 nights B&B but would recommend for longer stays.

My wife and I and two colleagues stayed here for 5 nights, on a business/sight seeing trip. Our rooms were very comfortable, they had views down through the glass roof of the breakfast room. The buffet style breakfast had an excellent selection of Hungarian cheeses and hams, sausage. Hot sausage, bacon, omelette, boiled eggs etc, 6+ types of cereals. Teas, coffee, hot chocolate, mineral water were always available "free of charge". The Hotel won an architectural award in 2006 and it is easy to see why. There were many restaurants and bars in close proximity, a trolley bus ran past the Hotel, though we used a local taxi (booked through reception) to travel to and from the Papp sport arena, and the airport.

We stayed for three nights.
The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The rooms and public areas are immaculately clean. It has an attractive, modern interior. The breakfast buffet is decent with a good range of options.
It is in a convenient location for all the sights and metro stops.
There are some good restraunts nearby.
The bar is perhaps overpriced, however there is a good locals bar just two doors down, where you can purchase the same drinks for a third of the price.
I would recommend this hotel as it was very well priced.

we stayed here for 3 nights for my husbands birthday from start to finish the customer service was excellent and they even give us free champagne and a birthday card to celebrate. The rooms are very modern and a good size and so is the bathroom the free breakfast buffet is excellent and the jacuzzi and sauna were excellent. The hotel is walkable to most attractions and we found it to be 10 mins walk of nightclubs and bars the wee local bar accross the road is great craic and they were all very friendly too i would defo stay here again

Was in this hotel in early February when it was minus 10 outside but lovely and warm inside. The hotel is not much to look at from the outside, but very attractive inside and extremely clean. In fact the cleaner would arrive to mop the wet footprints from the floor after guests entered the building.
The room we had was very tastefully decorated and the bed large and very comfortable. Breakfast was self service with a variety of hot and cold food available.
The reception staff were very attentive and could not be faulted.
Just along form the hotel is a local bar which is worth a visit as the locals were very friendly. Across the road to the left is a small restaurant which served excellent food and wine at a very reasonable price - worth a visit.
5min walk to the parliament building which you must visit - free to EU passport holders.
