“Well worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

Hotel Zenit was very beautiful and unique- open atrium to check in filled with daylight-very inviting. Room was comfortable, clean and staff were very accommodating. We needed a taxi to train station and they made sure we were dropped at the proper station.]Not the larger station in Budapest] . Breakfast and bar area very pleasant. 2 blocks from river and also from main shopping district. Great location.

centrally located, helpful staff, very clean, and spacious. Metro station is very close, like a 2 min walk away from the hotel
AMAZING italian restaurant at the entrance of the hotel that serves perfect fresh sandwiches...We did not take the breakfast option in the hotel and had a nice sandwich at this restaurant instead every morning, and i'm so glad we did that

It's a very nice and comfortable hotel.
Rooms are nice and space.
Good situated, very close to centre and to the Danube on the Pest side.
The staff is very friendly, helpful and kind.
I had to leave very early to take the train and because my breakfast was included I got a breakfast bag with water, juice, sandwiches, fruits and sweets - absolutely fabulous!

The hotel provided a high standard 4* quality in the most attractive location in Budapest. A few steps and you have the panorama of the Buda Castle. Next to most luxurious hotels in Budapest, Vorosmarty square and Vaci utca shopping street. The garage close to the hotel offered really bargain price for 24h parking (there are 2 parking houses, one is very expensive, ask at the reception). Next to the hotel is the renovated Vigado (concert and exhibition hall), very beautiful. Room price was very friendly, breakfast was tasty and diverse. The cooks even prepare fresh omelette on request. Very friendly reception. Not so many services, choose this hotel if you plan to go out to the city (plenty of attractions nearby.

The location is fantastic, no more than 100 yards fom the river or the main shopping and restaurant district. stayed for 3 night over a weekend for a little r and r while workng in Hungary. Could not have chosen a better hotel, rooms immaculately clean, bed comfy, breakfast good. Definatety add this one to my favorites and will definately come back agai with my family.

Did not see or use the spa or pool so couldn't rate them.

Top hotel. Thank you

Room Tip: 404 was nice, can't compare against others though.

We stayed with my wife's sister and husband. Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Good facilities. All the staff were friendly and helpful but those on Reception were even better. BA lost my luggage and the Reception staff were more determined than I to cut through what passed for BA customer service and make sure I got my case back. I am a frequent business traveller in Europe and would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Ideally situated between the Danube and the main shopping street (Vaci ).
Very good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff, especially Sandra at reception. Good-sized rooms, choice of pillows, etc. Gym and sauna available. Hotel bar offers discounts for residents. Would recommend the hotel.
