Over all it's OK to crash here!! I won't recommend it for romantic staying. Our room was very very small not so comfy. Service .... Sower face at the front desk.
The are is ok but not so close to the center. It's fine but not wow at all !!

Relatively large hotel, located in a nice quiet residential area, with a number of restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel is not located in the city center, but traveling on the subway or tram to the center takes only 10 minutes. If you are "stuck" in the city center at night, after cessation of activity of the metro and tram you can get to the hotel by a night bus or taxi (which costs around 12 euros). I did not like the design of the hotel and its structure was a little too crowded. If you can not afford to stay in a hotel in the city center, this hotel is recommended. But I found quite a few options closer to the center more or less at the same price as i paid in this hotel.

Stayed here for 4 day citytrip. The hotel is on the Tompa Utca, which is a not too busy street. Were received by a friendly receptionist, nice rooms, good breakfast, situated on not top bust street,10 minutes from restaurants, 3 metrostops from city centre.

Overall the one night stay was not awful. Cool district of pest. No problem getting to tram and metro station. 20 mins by walking and tram to city center. However there are some things that LEONARDO need to address immediately.
1) Housekeeping came into our room at 0745
2) Our room was not equipped with a do not disturb sign
3) The noise is out of control; They were either doing upgrades or some sort of rehab on the building. The AC unit is sounds like a train.
4) Housekeeping again kept me awake while cleaning the hallway and other rooms before 9am. As a leisure trip having my hangover sleep time disturbed is a huge problem.
5) When I addressed the issues with the desk. the man said that they should not have done that. Way to go Sherlock.
6)The in room safe is not secured from the hotel staff. We annoyed them with late checkout. I had no access to my SAFE!!!
The room was small, clean and modern. Had breakfast at a nice texmex cafe called chili down the street.

Dear Mr. RobbTaylor, Dear TripAdvisor user,

Thank you for your velued feedback which with you helped us to detect areas to improve in the Hotel to reach our ultimate goal : guest satisfaction.
Your review is useful for the future travellers and important for the Hotel!

We examined the points you mentioned, implemented our plans; and inform you:
- after you informed the reception desk, we had checked the door lock memory to see exactly, and kept a training for the room maid about this particular question, but still and again we are sorry for disturbing your sleep time.
- in case there is any maintanance work in process in the Hotel, we do the noisy works after the breakfast time, in the meaning after 10.00 am, and stop them before the evening 6.00 pm, in order to reduce the disturbance of our guest relaxing time.
- the room key, which has a unique code to open the room door and room safe, is expiring automatically on the departure day by 11.00 check-out time, therefore if our guest is in the room, and the time is over, it may occure that the key is not working any more. To solve it, the room key must be re-coded for longer time period, this way our guest are able to enter the room and also to open the safe.
- we are happy, that you enjoyed the sorrounding area nerby the Hotel, and could have a nice breakfast in the Chili Restaurant.

We hope we will welcome you again in any of the Leonardo Hotels!
Best Regards

The walls and door let the noise enter in the bedroom.
It was too hot in the room and the air was very dry. I slept very badly because of that.
The bedroom was very little.
The breakfast was not of high quality especially the fruit juices.

Very nice staff.

Great hotel with very experienced staff, no question about everything in the hotel and the city staff was very attentive and helped with anything we asked. Hotel location is very accessible with lots of bars around, no need to go to spend.

Stayed for a week in February, the hotel was really clean and tidy, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff.
The receptionist was really helpful,i've lost his name unfortunately but i think it was baisa? very informative, recommending lots of places to visit.
We upgraded our room to a suite, definately worth it.
The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice for everyone and everyone seemed to be very happy with everything.
Visited the hot baths which were excellent and worth a visit anytime.
The weather was excellent whilst we were there,so did the red top bus on the first day to get our bearings and then walked everywhere for the rest of the week.
One big tip, take the local currency, florintines and not euro's,definately easier and a lot less hassle.
All the locals were very friendly and no problems whatsoever

Room Tip: Defintely worth a upgrade if poss
