“Very Enjoyable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

We ended up here instead of one of the larger baths because I wanted to experience these tubs as they were designed 100s of years ago. The renovation up front created a little havoc getting into the building but after that didn't cause any issues. The tubs were clean and not overcrowded even through they were running out of lockers (Sunday at 6pm).
We only went for the Thermal Section and rented towels (actually bed sheets). It was co-ed day and there was no nudity minus one lady and her boyfriend who decided to put on a little naked show it seemed. Most of the women were in 2 pc suits and the men were in trunks.
I suggest checking out all of the tub temps and pushing yourself into the 72° C sauna. it was pretty darn hot.

Went there on sunday afternoon. Ticket for thermal bath only. A lot of people at entrance, we entered after 10-15min wait. Ok inside. Renovation work in entrance but bath area is not impacted. Do not forgot a towel !

“Ottoman-era Thermal Baths”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

If you haven't experienced Turkish-style thermal baths, this is one of the best choices. It is one of the oldest in Budapest going back to the 145 year Ottoman occupation. But, in my experience, Rudas and other baths do a poor job of giving neophytes an idea of what to expect. Rudas is undergoing major renovations but these don't affect the thermal pools.

“Visit on weekdays”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

Do not visit this place on weekends, we found this spa nice, but the water was not so clear as wee expected. Interesting to visit if you like spa or sauna. Very good cold water and hot water pools.

“Swimming pools or baths?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

It was a hot day when, on a walking tour, we came upon the baths. As it was a hot day, the place was crowded. We did not get into the baths, but judging from those in there, everyone was happy!
