This old pearl of the Budapest spa culture is more or less destroyed! Because of the prevalent homophobia in the country (I am not kidding you) the spa has be re-designed so that the old allocation of the spaces (male hot bath, female hot bath, common swimming pool and common outdoor pool and outdoor hot pool) are now allocated to both sexes. This mixes up the floor plan and makes the place to an odd labyrinth.
In addition, the previously tranquil spa is now like any other swimming hall with lot of noice (including children plashing the water and screamine: don't get me wrong - children are ok, but this place used to be a tranquil place to relax). Add to this the rudest possible staff, ridicilous price (5100 forints, towels additionally 4200), very inconvinent space to change (where women can look into the men's locker room) and slimey and dirty floors, you get the picture. The Jugend Stile interior decor does not merit the visit.
If you want to see the building, simply visit the lobby, where you can have a peak at the swimming pool.
