If there is reincarnation then my wish is to come back again to Budapest Zoo because I will be assured of a lovely home, ample food, a constant stream of adulating visitors without having to worry about paying the mortgage or being eaten by predators.
At this city centre Zoo there is surely an amazing array of fauna looking completely at home, well-fed, and at peace with the world in very beautiful gardens extending to over 23 acres graced with an abundance of flora including majestic as well as waterways, and man-made features such as craggy heights, botanical gardens and as well as excellent habitat for our fauna friends.
Some of the displays are highly innovative and informative. There are several architectural gems, most notably the Elephant House. My only criticism is the almost total lack of English signage and narrative throughout the Park, given that no visit to Budapest would be complete for the estimated 3 million annual foreign visitors without a visit to this outstanding attraction
