“Nice day out to see animals and flora”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

We had a lovely day seeing some beautiful sights at the zoo. Start by getting the special zoo ticket at Gundel's next door, for the combined ticket with continental breakfast. You save just 300 HUF, but the treat is worth it. Enjoy in the restaurant however before entering the zoo.
We saw lion cubs and a baby elephant! Meercats and penguins were also very cute.

The only animal who looked sad was the polar bear. He kept pacing up and down all day in a repetitive manner. Perhaps he was too warm as it was about 30 degrees.

“A lot of animals!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

Here we spent the last day of our holiday and it was magnificent! A lot of beautiful animals that I didn't think I ever see them! We spent a whole day and still not had enough time to fully savor the atmosphere. I'm sure kids would love to spend here one day!

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

We hadn't planned to go there, but so glad we did. It was beautifully landscaped, and lots to see. 4 adorable lion cubs, and two baby meerkats! Good value, but just a pity we didn't have more time.

“A zoo for every one”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

This is an old fashioned zoo in all senses of the word. Some parts old, some parts new. All has that old world feel of "take your Time "
Enjoy the animals and respect them. With the under hand lessons of what damage man has done and is doing to nature and the animal world.
The big attraction is the baby elephant born on Valantines day this year.
