“an insight into Hungarian history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

what a majestic show piece to outline the history of the country. If you get a chance to visit the square with a guide, it will make more sense, but make sure you take a photo of the statues of the Magyar horsemen. Then go visit the baths.

“Be amazed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

What an incredible city, I was totally amazed at the wonderful architecture, fantastic buildings, wonderful views. Stunning when all the historical buildings, bridges, and the castles are all lit up at night with the beautiful river Danue following in the middle. Walk up to the castle during the day and be amazed at the panaramic view of Budapest and the Danue. Restraunts are plentiful and top quality, prices are about the same as in England. Change your currency in Budapest you get a much better exchange rate than at your bank.

“Huge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

This is a really impressive square with amazing statues around the perimeter and heroic monument in the centre - the statues all looked like something out of Lord of the Rings.

“Big, bigger, biggest”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

Take the millenium metro line from the city to the Heroes'square.
It will take you to a journey into the 19 th century...
Heroes'square is impresive, big, bigger. It is all about history, politics. Take the opportunity to visit the parc and the baths.
