“Very Impressive Building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

I was not expecting the fantastic detail of craftsmanship and artistry that I found in the church. Well worth a visit. You can pay 500Ft to walk up to the viewing parade near the top of the dome. Beware though it is 302 steps! There is a lift though after 100 steps.

“A Must to See”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

The place is beautiful by itself. If you want to see something curious about this place, I would recommend you to go on the right side of the basilica and enter in the holy hand chapel. Is free of charge, and you can see the Saint Stephen conserved hand, that died in 1038.

This is simply one of the most breathtaking Catholic cathedral's we have been to and trust me it's not just beautiful from the outside but many times more splendid from the inside as well.

“Another beautiful church”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

This city is just full of amazing architecture. From the outside this building looks magnificent but step inside and it is a masterpeice. You can also go up to the viewing balconies on the top of the building for a great panorama of the city

“Spectacular”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

One of many spectacular cathedrals in Europe, but even so, this will not disappoint. Suggested donation HUF 200 (50p). In the middle of Central Pest so easy to get to.
