“Stunning inside & from the roof, dont just observe from outside”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

The inside of this amazing building is STUNNING! Amazing detail. Well worth a look. Also would recommend paying the approx £1.50 per person to go up to the roof. A lot of stairs or you can take the lift. Great views over Budapest, including the Danuba and the chain bridge.

“St. Stephen's Basilica”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

The entrance cost 200 HUF / 1 euro (optional) but it's worth to see the interior of the church. The chapel of the relics of St. Stephen's is open from 1 pm.

“Impressive!”

Fantastic building with very ornate interior. Go to the chapel at the back to see the mummified hand of St Stephen.

“Beautiful!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

Take a few peaceful moments. For a couple of pounds you can enter and take in the beautiful interior and go an see the famous relic! I would say a definite must if you are visiting the city. In December there is a Christmas Market out front, have a few mulled wines or Hot Apple Cider with a shot of Rum in a lovely setting.
