“Easy transfer”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

Good views of both Buda and Pest. Access to the funicular to castle hill. Nice place for photo ops.
Not exactly an attraction but more a means to an end. Easy access to most sights

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

To walk across this bridge is a privilege. To look at the marvelous parliament Building on the pest side and to see all the hotels rebuilt after the siege of Budapest is numbing. The view up to the castle District is great also,

“Great views day and night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013 via mobile

Walked this bridge many times and never tired of the views. Looks better at night when lit up. Feels a bit unstable when a bus crosses it!

Nice bridge, with public transportation crossing it.
Crossing the Danube River in the central downtown area you can look down at all the river boats.

“Beautiful setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

In a city of bridges, the Chain Bridge stands out as most elegant. It spans the Danube, connecting the two cities of Buda and Pest. We loved it most at night, enjoyed from one of the many boat trips along the Danube; it lends a magic and luster to the city. We particularly enjoyed walking leisurely along the bridge, to get our first close-up view of Buda, as we were staying in Pest. This marvellous bridge has none of the tourist-trap glitz of the Charles Bridge in Prague or other similar places. It is simply a functional bridge that provides magnificent views of both sides of this terrific city.
