This bridge is a must see during the day however.....at night it is a DO NOT MISS. It becomes the central point of a magical landscape.

“It's a bridge”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

This bridge crosses the Danube between the Buda and Pest sides of the city. The walkway is sheltered from vehicular traffic by a stone wall.

“THE MOST BEAUTIFULL OF BUDAPEST BRIDGES”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Chain Bridge or Lions Bridge ,because of the two lions decoration, at each side entrance of the bridge,is one of the most beautifull bridges of Hungary.I felt sorry when i heart from our guide that the creator suicided becauce he forgotten to put the tongue of the lion.
I enjoyed it passing with our tour-bus and also walking on it crossing Buda to Pesti, both daylight and at night that is illuminated. It looks fantastic.

“The nicest bridge in Budapest, great all lit up!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Although this bridge is sort of a mini Brooklyn Bridge, in that it is constructed of brick and is of a similar style to the New York landmark, it doesn't have the presence of the Brooklyn Bridge--but it is the nicest one in Budapest. At night, it is especially lovely. There is a park on the Pest side near the entrance to the bridge, and the funicular which takes you up to the palace is right there when you arrive on the Pest side.
