Great location. On the banks of the Danube and next to the Chain Bridge. We stayed here for 2 nights late in July - during a heat wave. The hotel was in a great central location to go out and sight see/shop early, then retreat back during the heat of the day. Rooms and facility's were excellent. We ordered a room service breakfast for one - could have fed 3 to 4 !! The service was great. Kaitlin on reception was fantastic even helping me out the day before check-in. Concierge staff were great also, with all bookings done with no trouble. Nothing bad to say at all.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Everything about our stay was good. We arrived midday on Saturday and they had our room ready. The room was well equipped and the view was fantastic. We had a few requests to housekeeping during our stay and they responded immediately. The front desk and concierge staff were very helpful. The concierge was right on with all of their recommendations and information provided. The one thing I would suggest is they could provide more prompt service with additional concierge staff during the busy times.

We had dinner in the restaurant Corso the first night. The food and the service were good and the view was beautiful. They have a nice children's menu with plenty of options. The terrace bar was lovely as well.

The breakfast was fantastic. Definitely recommend trying to go early on the weekend. While there was plenty of space to sit and food, it gets quite crowded when the hotel is full. It was much pleasanter on Monday morning when the hotel wasn't sold out. We had to leave before breakfast Tuesday. The front desk ordered us a boxed breakfast (need to let them know the evening before for this). While of course not as good as the fabulous breakfast buffet, it was very nice and met our needs perfectly.

We looked at several different hotels. After our stay, I would definitely recommend this one for the quality, service and view if you want to stay on the Pest side.

Mixed feeling about the five stars
Location is rather six, reception, ground floor and terraces is five, standard room withouth view, small bathroom, carpet, airco with Some noice not more than 3
Info from conciërge old Afshin, very classic, no info about bike tours, etc
If you want view on the Donau and you pay the full price it is overrated but you pay the location
Breakfast perfect but for 28 EUR per person ...

Not a 5* hotel! Far from it! If I was looking after the intercon brand I would very quickly down grade this to a holiday inn or crowns plaza.
Room was very basic and very small. Food in the restaurant was poor.
Only redeeming feature was the staff who were generally courteous and helpful but again not up to 5* standard!

The hotel's location is very convenient. The hotspots of the city are all walking distance from the hotel. The staff is good. The hotel is old fashioned but comfy. The rooms size are average . The concierge is knowledgable. It is a good option if your looking for a good location .
