Visited in April for 3 nights and four days. The hotel it's PERFECTLY located in the fashion district, walking distance to all the hotspots (nightlife and attractions), right next to the metro station where u can catch all lines to take you all over Budapest. The hotel is spectacular! The staff are friendly and have excellent customer service skills. We stayed in a superior room which was massive and had a 4 piece bathroom suite which was nice. They also make up the room twice a day which is a very nice touch. Located within the hotel there is a nobu and a fantastic bar for some good dining and nightlife right on your doorstep. The spa is beautiful with a very nice pool which has several features such as waterfall, whirlpool and waterfall. There are also different steam rooms and saunas. I would certainly recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at the end of March and we could not have chosen a better hotel that met with all our requirements. At our request, they provided us with a room on a high floor (8th out of 9 in total) with a lovely view over the park towards the St Stephen's Basilica. We had a superior room which was more than adequate. The bathroom was large and if there is one minor complaint it was this: the shower in the bath was a hand held unit rather than being able to be fixed to the wall at a higher position. The services and cleanliness of our room was excellent with an evening turn down service. We were pleased that they did not replace our bath towels every day (unless requested) showing some green credentials. Our room rate included breakfast and there was an excellent selection to suit all tastes. The hotel position was exceptional within walking distance to all the key sights and the principal shopping areas. Public transport (buses, trams and the metro) were just a minutes walk away. The concierge and front of desk staff were all very helpful and efficient and I would highly recommend the this hotel.

My husband, 18-month old daughter, and I stayed at the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus in early April 2014. Barring lack of a confirmation for an attempted last-minute request for pickup from the airport (we took a cab, figuring it didn't go through), all went smoothly. The hotel breakfast is a bit overpriced but the spread is good and service generally good as well; you can also order eggs to order for no extra charge. The staff was very, very helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions. The rooms were quiet and ours, at least, was large. But it was the little touches that stood out: like when the turndown-service in the evening included a little mat to 'step on' next to the little one's crib just like I had by my bedside despite the fact that she can't climb out by herself.... or most astoundingly, one of the reception staff breaking out bubbles and blowing them in the lobby of the hotel with my daughter. Given that some of the other guests included parliament members at the same time, patience with a toddler was appreciated. The location was also convenient to the Great Market Hall, the Great Synagogue, St. Stephen's Basilica, and the waterfront. The massage at the hotel was very relaxing. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay here again.

We stayed here for our 13th wedding anniversary at the end of March. Based on previous reviews I had asked for a room with a view of the Basilica on a high storey, but we were upgraded on arrival to a deluxe suite with a fab view and given a bottle of bubbly - what a lovely way to start our holiday celebrations!
The room was spacious and the bathroom luxurious (with a proper power shower and two sinks). If I could find fault at all... the maids tended to replace towels and bath products regardless, which is not environmentally friendly, and the bed was less comfortable after 8 hours sleep, but I really am nit-picking here.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind throughout our stay; reception, bar and restaurant employees alike.
We had two of the best massages ever at the spa, which was well-appointed with a relax area, tepidarium, large sauna, steam and aroma room, two bracing showers, an ice pit and two foot baths. Nudity was advised and adhered to by most visitors.
We ate in ÉS Bisztró the first night - I don't think I've ever had better service or more exquisite food, it was a perfect evening.
The location of the hotel was ideal - it fronts onto one of the main squares for bus tour hopping, backs onto a lovely market and is one road away from the main shopping and eating districts, plus we were walking distance to most sites.
All in all, I thoroughly recommend this hotel and would book again without a doubt.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor with a view of the basilica

Very good location. Very central and right next to the metro. Lovely room, big bathroom with a tub. Great cleaning and good service at the reception. We didn't have breakfast there as it was overpriced for our taste. We enjoyed our breakfasts at local cafés instead with great atmosphere and food, and at a lot more reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay at the Kempinski, but we felt the staff were sometimes too attentive in their effort to give good service and we felt sometimes uncomfortable denying them as we felt they wanted a tip all the time.... Maybe it was just us. Other than that our stay was great. But I have learned that these big hotels have a tendency to become a bit impersonal for my taste, and will choose a smaller hotel next time. Almost forgot; the hotel has a fantastic, little Macaroon shop which has the best macaroons in the whole city!!!:)

This is the best hotel I have stayed in. The service was excellent from Daniel who got us sorted at checkin to Tomacz on the Concierge desk with his excellent restaurant recommendation. The breakfast is superb, and I did try the homemade yoghurt it was lovely. The pool, sauna, massage area looked amazing, just didn't have time to use it all. We had a bedroom overlooking the rear street, but it was wonderfully quiet for a city location. The Living Room has excellent Mint tea for when you need a break. We did eat one evening in the Es Bistro, huge portions, great food. We got a great deal with Jet2 holidays to stay in this hotel, it was certainly worth the visit.

Room Tip: At the back of the hotel was peaceful.
