“Great Sport, Great Service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Thuis hotel was extraordinary, the location, the rooms, the spa,
the service rendered by the staff was all exceptional...there
is a beautiful restaurant in the lobby...the Tuesday night buffet
with wine pairings is a must! The breakfast was also lovely and all of the\
staff go out of their way to helpful....a lot of amenities, transportation
tickets, recreational activities can be purchased right at the desk...they were\
great

Room Tip: Keep Kempinski in mind!

Amazing hotel for the price. Booked through Expedia and would expect to pay double for a hotel like this. Very friendly and attentive staff. Large rooms and bathroom. Location was very convenient, couple minute walk to main sights. Couple negatives, but not enough to lower my rating:
- room was uncomfortably warm
- service at buffet breakfast was a bit lacking
- don't count on a late checkout
- don't exchange money at the desk, much better rates elsewhere

Room Tip: I am an elite member on expedia and I received a free upgrade without asking. Room looked out over...

Everything was fine, room (including bath) was large and characterized by very good quality, reset properly twice per day like a 5 stars needs, service was prompt and accurate. I appreciated also SPA (also if there were a few beds, just five for all the hotel). We didn't try neither breakfast nor restaurants. The location was great and the hotel is positioned in a strategic place near Deak Ferenc ter metro station, intersection of 3 metro lines.

Loved the spacious room and the fantastic view of the Cathedral out the window. The location was right in the middle of everything so just walked out the door to start siteseeing. The restaurant had very good goulash and violinists to accompany our meal. Budapest is a fantastic city and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Kempinski as a great place to stay.

Room Tip: We were upgraded to an upper level room. I had asked for a view room and the view was spectacular...

At last - a leading hotel that doesn't rip off its customers with charges for
Wi Fi...ok you pay premium rates for this place but you get what you pay for.

My company was employed at a major conference there, hosting sessions with lots of 'bells and whistles'...video running in PowerPoint, Apple Macs, video workshops and hosting live events.

The hotel equipment was first class and the support person who helped set up (shame I didn't get her name...young woman with red hair) was brilliant.

My room was also excellent - I only ate breakfast at the hotel but that was superb and a wine tasting that was staged in the hotel for delegates was also first class.

Finally that Wi Fi. I travel many hotels in the world, budget and five star, and how annoying is it when you face extra charges for Internet so congratulations to the Kempinski for giving it for 'free' (other hotels should take notice!!!!).

It is advertised as being 5 star, and it lives up to it. Very new, spotlessly clean and beautifully laid out, rooms are spacious and very well maintained, everything works perfectly. Beds very comfortable, and all facilities excellent. There isn't really anything you could complain about - yes, the cost is high, but you get what you pay for.

Superb place, and location is perfect for buisness or leisure.

The hotel was one of the best I have stayed in. Great location The service was first class. Rooms are spacious and the corridors wide The buffet was amazing for breakfast but the Sunday brunch was exceptional. Dinner one night in Nobu is not to be missed. A bottle of Verve in the outdoor lounge was also a treat. The hotels leather shop is a must. Overall a wonderful experience.
