“Great Hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

The hotel is located just a 1-minute walk from Opera Metro Station and right beside the Opera House. It is within walking distance to many attractions and close to many good restaurants. The reception and cafe staff were all very helpful and friendly, and always with a smile. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The room was of a high standard; what you'd expect from an international chain. Highly recommended.

We recently travel to Eastern Europe on our own and chose this hotel based on other trip advisor reviews and also the location. The price also helped in the selection. One of the bonuses of going on trip advisor to search is the hotel also had a coupon for a free upgrade, which I printed off and received when we arrived at the hotel.
As I said the hotel is in a great location, directly behind the Opera house on a quiet street. It is within walking distance of many restaurants, coffee shops and sites. The room was large and well appointed with all the amenities required - toileteries, hair dryer, fluffy towels, etc.
The bed was confortable and we were able to get a good nights sleep.Breakfast was provided each morning and there was a good selection of fruit, cereals, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, etc.
More than enough food to get you started for a day of sight-seeing.There were computers provided in the lobby which were handy to keep in touch with family.
The front desk staff was extremely helpful with tourist information, dining suggestions and went out of their way to make your stay as confortable as possible.
I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone wishing to visit the beautiful city of Budapes.

Room Tip: Ask if an upgrade is possible or check the hotel web-site. Our room was very spacious especially con...

we spent three days in this hotel. A very friendly staff. Great breakfast, nice bar and.... around the corner of the Opera. A lot of nice restaurants in the neighbourhood as well as the hop-on hop-off.
A very good choice for a very good price.

In my opinion the hotel is ideally located both for business and leisure, having most attractions within walking distance (except the Citadel and Buda Castle) and the metro station just around the corner. I've been in this hotel already some times and I always find the staff very friendly, helpful and reactive to my needs. The room was quite large, comfortable and quiet, with a fast and smooth wifi connection. The breakfast buffet is having a wide choice and a good quality.

Friendly and helpful staff, pleasant rooms, good location. Would stay there again. The only slightly annoying thing is that the rooms are a little too warm.
Breakfast offered a good choice of different items and was delicious.
I'd recommend this hotel anytime

Staying at the K+K Opera made our trip to a great city
an even more enjoyable experience.
Most attractions are within walking distance, the subway
is just around the corner, some very good restaurants are
only a few minutes away.
Our room was comfortable and quiet, the WIFI connection
was fast & flawless, room service was impeccable.
Each day started with an excellent, excellent, excellent breakfast.
Special mention for the nice welcome.

For a 4 day trip to Budapest we checked online and found a decent deal for the K + K Hotel in Budapest. I can not find enough superlative terms to describe this hotel.

It is new and nice inside, great furniture and decor. We were upgraded to an executive double which offered a free breakfast as well as a neat bottle of odd-tasting water in the room. The room was fantastic, a comfortable bed and excellent bathroom facilities. The breakfast was fantastic, with more choices than you could ever eat at once and all very high quality. The front desk staff was very kind in helping us with any questions. We did feel sorry for the young man working at the hotel bar. It seemed nobody was using the bar any time we walked by. He looked terribly bored and we felt bad for him.

The location is very close the the M1 metro which will get you right to the heart of town in a few minutes. It's also located next to the opera and near many fine shops and some decent restaurants. There are many opportunities to explore.

Only downside: The wi-fi. Totally inoperable. It simply did not work, but we had SIM cards from T-Mobile which made up for the problem. But do not expect to get any internet in your room.

Absolutely a great stay and one of the finest hotels I've ever visited, particularly for its price.
