Maybe wants a freshen up in parts (stairs and landing) but the room and bathroom was cleaned daily with plenty of storage a fridge and two decent beds the staff was very helpful and it's in a very good position to see the city. We will certainly book here again.

Hotel is only a short walk from Nyugati Rail Station and is a great base if you're visiting Budapest where all you need is a nice clean room.Staff were very friendly - free internet access in the lobby - and room was always immaculate the next day.
If you're a "needy" person then it's probably not for you but great otherwise.Check out the art deco MacDonalds by the station too!

I stayed there for four nights and it is a great place.
Good location, five minutes walking from the Nyugati Station and next to a supermarket. Very clean. Hot shower. Confortable bed. Free internet. Fridge and TV in the room. Quiet place. The staff answered all my questions. Lugagge room (you can use it after the check out).
There is no lift, but it was not a problem for me.

(+) perfect location : all sightseeing is withing walking distance
cleanliness : fresh towels every day, room was cleaned
good price : 50 euros/night brekafast included
friendly staff, helpful receptionists

(-) a bit old, a renovation is needed in the fututre

Generally, I would stay again in this hotel.
Low price, clean rooms, excellent location, a dissent breakfast, maybe a bit old and rooms were basic, but really that was not a problem.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2010

Stayed for 4 nights beginning of June 2010.

On plus side rooms were clean, fresh towels every day, good hot shower (but size could be a bit challenging for folks on the larger size). Also location good being a matter of metres from Nyugati station. Price was good (through booking.com). Reception also very helpful.

On not so good side, no lifts (not a problem for us but I did see one unfortunate lady hobbling up to the second floor), Breakfast was edible but very basic, also service was a little on the slow side. Complete lack of public areas to chill out etc.

To sum up the title says it all, ok for a few nights but no longer than that. Not a bad hotel but we got what we paid for (which is fair enough !)

We booked the City Panzio Ring Hotel for a short stay, it is a two hundred yard walk from the main Nyugati railway station and right on the 4/6 tram route which run very frequently. It is a five minute walk to the Danube and conveient for travelling around the city. We arrived late on the Monday evening and very greeted by a very Friendly recepionist called Tunde who is absolutely brilliant and helpful. Our room was spacious the bathroom is not overly big and the shower quite small but over all it is very nice. The breakfast is a very basic continental buffet not much choice but enough to start the day with. I would and will definately stay there again as it is so easy to get there from Ferihegy airport station catch the train to Nyugati station which is the end of the line, takes 20 to 30 mins depending on how many stops, cost in GB£ 1.50 then when there walk towards the Danube and hey presto you walk right past it on the right hand side of the road. Incidently there is a vast shopping centre called West End right besides the station where you can shop till you drop.
