3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

General - good location and English speaking in reception. rooms are small and clean but we got a full return for what we paid for.
the area if fully in constructions all around the hotel and some hammers and other machined are heard during the day, therefore it is recommended to check these things in advance.
Location - it is located nearby the river and a walking distance to all nice bridges, Castle Hill, Market and touristic promenades full of restaurants.

Room Tip: 1. No swimming pool or fitness center. 2. Beware of some "sex experts" offering you some...

Hotel in good location but access to rooms, dining room and reception are very difficult for anyone who has walking difficulties. As there is no porter all luggage has to be carried up the stairs by the guests which is not mentioned in the hotel description.Cleaning of room left a lot to be desired, broken shower door, ill-fitting curtains which let the street lighting in.As we were in a room at the front of the hotel it was very noisy all night as there is traffic passing the hotel
constantly .Never any staff around apart from one man on the desk who didn't care about the guests .Would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it.

Room Tip: choose another hotel

The location of this hotel is really good, very close to the Mattias church and Erzsebet bridge. The hotel rooms are fairly simple, but clean and convenient. Given the cheap price this hotel was a really good choice!

We are two couples who visited Budapest in June 2012. We looked for a hotel with a central location and also took into account that my Visa card account was limited. The choise fell on this hotel, and we were not disappointed.
The hotel was quite old, but was obviously partly rebuilt later on. This resulted in twisted access to the rooms. This is not a hotel for people with walking difficulties.
The breakfast was very good. There was a litle traffic noise, but ours rooms were placed to the backyard and therefore quite silent

Room Tip: Don't choose rooms towards the street, there are bus stop for charter buses in front of the hote...
