I'll admit I had no intentions of eating here, as it's located on the north side of the castle right in front of the tourist bus stops. But a brief rainshower and strong winds dropped the temp about 5 celcius, and we decided on cappuccinos. Since it was about noon, the wife said we might as well get some sandwiches too and call it lunch. The place is a cafe, great location, perfectly clean, and it looks rather nice. Our server was friendly, professional, efficient. The sandwiches tasted fine, the cappuccinos were a bit on the small side. Kids were with me, so 2 apple juices, a beer, and a slice of cheesecake (and the 2 cappucinos and 2 salami sandwiches and 1 cheese sandwich came out to 5400 HUF. They handwrote 5940 on the bill, which I assume was the recommended tip. (10%). I had no problem giving the waiter 540 HUF, so paid in cash and lunch was complete. Everything was fine really. Oh, there was a plate of coins by the bathrooms, but it never occurred to me that a customer who was dining there needed to pay, so I didn't (or wouldn't). It's right by the castle so I'm sure they get quite a few folks that just need a nice place to relieve themselves, so I took no offense to the plate.
