“Great music hall but don't miss the scupture garden.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

Worth hearing a concert here especially one that will use the gigantic organ there. Also, spend a while and stroll the sculpture gallery outdoors from the building going upstream about 200 meters. You must stop in the toilets and see the automation there.

“125th Bartok Bithday Concert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

Absolutely superb. The orchestra and conductor were TOPS! The venue is glorious - like some kind of heavenly jukebox. Amazing. Wonderfu. Young Italian started the concert with some Beethoven and received SEVEN curtain calls. Great night for music in the snow!

“Bartok's Birthday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

If you have the opportunity to visit Budapest in March make a note of visiting the Palace of Arts web site and book ( you will need to ) seats for the annual celebration concert for the Hungarian Composer Bela Bartok. A wonderful evening of classical music in a superb venue. I have never heard better accoustics. It will be the highlight of your city break to this magnificent city.

“Incredible acoustics”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

Have visited this place twice during Spring Festival - first to the smaller theatre to watch an adaptation of The Magic Flute, and second to the main hall for Mendelssohn, Britten, Verdi from a 20 piece orchestra and opera singer. The acoustics in both rooms are exceptional, but also the main concert hall is quite stunning. I sat on the third tier up off to one side, where they line the edge with loose chairs. Comfortable and no problems to report.

“The best concert hall in the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

Some say it's too modern, others say it was too expensive to build. But the truth is that if you properly choose a programme, you will never be disappointed. Staff is always very friendly, the booking of tickets is easy, seats are comfy, you can hardly find a bad part...
The only strange thing is about the parking: if you attend an event that attracts many people, you'd rather get there at least 1 hr before the event starts. Otherwise you will indeed get a parking place but you will surely be late as there are always queues...
