“We didn't stay here, but the hotel is very impressive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

The location of this hotel is top notch. This is a renovated palace that is unbelievably beautiful inside and out-- it is a must see for those who appreciate gorgeous architecture, high style and detailed high-end finishes. The doormen were so pleasant, professional and welcoming--we felt like royalty just coming in to gawk at the lobby. The cost of staying here is very expensive, but I am certain that for those who can afford it, this is the place to stay in Budapest.

“Now a Hotel...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

Doesnt really look like a palace in the grandest of sense but a nice building but not particularly stand-out in a city like budapest.

“Nice Building”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

One the renovated (it is RARE!) buildings in Budapest, its golden paintings makes it look gorgeous! You can't miss it since it's right at the 'pest' side of the chain bridge

“Impressive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

Went to have a look at this building as it is in the Secession style. It certainly does not disappoint in that respect and has a great location opposite the Chain Bridge and the castle. The wrought iron gates inside are beautiful - peacocks - and the shopping arcade too - leave your credit card behind! The front of the building has carvings from the period too. Not sure I would have wanted to stay here though - quite a large hotel!
