“Great value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

Apartment was very big and clean. There were large kitchen with all necessary facilities for cooking and washing dishes( including dish washer), large living room and bedroom. Location of the apartments is great. They are in the city center, few meters from metro, pubs, restaurants. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is big and clean. The location is excellent. The stuff is very helpful and friendly.
Everything we found is good except of absence of a safe to keep documents. We need to carry all documents with us all the time. Apart of that thanks for your apartments and service.

Travelled with my family (we have 3 children). Not impressed. The smell walking into their office was awful (smoke filled). They had given away our 2 bedroom so we were put in a one bedroom. We had enough beds for the 5 of us but the apartment was very worn. Needs painting and their was a "suspicious" stain on our bedding that grossed me out for the weekend! Location was good and apartment was big, but I was not impressed and would not stay here again.

The apartment was very big and clean: large living room, a separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. It had all the necessary facilities for cooking, washing your clothes or dishes. The best was the little SPA included in the price. As the Easter week was very cold, we spent some 3 to 4 hours every day in the SPA and it was so much better than the famous Gallart SPA (a big disappointment actually).
The only thing we were not happy about was that we had to pay in cash because the card reader was broken (apparently for some time already and nobody really cared). Do they think somebody travels around with 500 Euros in cash? To take money from the bank cost me 30 Euros more for the transfer. Another bad surprise was that the printer at the reception was broken as well and we couldn't check in and print our tickets for the flight. So we had to go around city to find an Internet cafe on Easter Sunday. The hotel staff didn't seem very helpful with these things.
Apart from these problems we enjoyed our stay.

Me my two sisters and cousin went on a girly city break. I decided to book an apartment as it was working out cheaper than most good hotels I had looked at with a central location. It was great staying at an apartment as we had spa e to chill out aswell as sleeping arrangements. It also gave us the freedom of having a cup of tea/coffee in the morning. The apartment was fully equipped with hair dryer, iron and fully equipped kitchen. There were 4 of us so one double bedroom and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was quite comfortable, it was a foam one.

The location of the apartment was really good, lots of nice little bars, cafes and restaurants. If you go, visit Spinoza and Mosaik they were brilliant, my favourite places to eat of our whole trip. We walked most places, and went for the free walking your, which was brilliant, really informative but make sure you wear comfy shoes there are no stops.

I have read some other reviews complaining about the noise levels. They didn't bother us at all, we were on the 5 th floor. But if noise bothers you then the apartment staff have ear plugs in their office. Would visit Gozsdu Court again. :-)

Staying in a flat can be a lot better experience than staying in a hotel room. Ok, you don't get room service and sometimes you don't get the usually overpriced hotel breakfast either but that's about it. I stayed alone in a flat that was huge: large living room, bathroom, separate toilet and a nice bedroom - spacious and bright. All this for approximately £25 a night in central Budapest, where the cheapest hotels would charge you £90 a night or more. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and it is fantastic for transport, too: you have Deak Square where all of the city's underground lines meet, there is Vaci utcak the shopping street - pretty much all the major locations are walkable. I had the feeling that
Gozsdu Cpurt is an umbrella company that has a few privately owned apartments in its portfolio that they let out. The one I got was brilliant, the kitchen was modern and had everything i needed, espresso machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, normal oven, fridge and so on. You could actually stay in the apartment for a long period of time and it would be comfortable. I gives you the feeling of living in Budapest - you can pop down to the local shop to get some breakfast from there and in the evening you can visit some of the bars nearby. There are two cafes that offer discounted breakfast for Gozsdu guests, it is €5 per person, I did not take it but it looked ok on the poster they put on your door inside the apartment.
There is a private members gym nearby with a few pools and other things that guests can use but it is around €10 per person per day so I did not use it. The fact that they mention thus gym on agoda and booking.com like it is their own is pretty much false advertising, that was my only minor issue with this place but apart from it this it was a great stay, I had a good time and good sleep.
