We stayed here in a group of eight and arrived in the evening around 7pm. The man on the desk got us checked in as quickly as he could and provided us with our bearings, maps and recommendation's. As it was raining he even provided an umbrella for my wife. In fact nothing was any trouble from any of the staff at the hotel. Taxi's and restaurants were booked promptly and they even surprised one of our party whose birthday it was with a bottle of fizz! The rooms were clean and of a good size, we had a corner room which also had a sofa. The bathrooms were more than ample. The only downsize to the room was the wardrobe space but this wasn't too much of a problem as we were only there for a weekend. Breakfast was a continental style with a couple of hot plates with scrambled egg and local sausage which was fine by us. Plenty to do in Budapest, really interesting place. Don't miss a visit to the Central Market Hall about 100 yards from the hotel, proper slice of Hungary with lots of tasty morsels to eat and visit the ruin pubs in the Jewish Quarter, nothing like them anywhere else that we've seen. Great hotel, top staff!
