We loved this restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere. Knowledgeable waiters without being overy prissy. The food was super yummy, my wild mushroom soup with wild game in particular stood out. One quibble- where were the vegetables? This restaurant is within sight of Budapest's main market. Surely it would not be beyond the chef or some other member of staff to visit and see what is in season? My main course of duck and polenta was lovely but not a single veggie graced the plate. Okay I was a vegetarian for 10 years and maybe have an unnatural attachment to vegetables but please if they are not on the plate could I order them as a side? Please use vegetables as a way to differentiate. Play on your proximity to the market. Revel in legumes. I lived in Scotland for over 20 years, the home of deep fried pizza and Mars Bar and if I can learn to love veggies then your customers can. Give them a chance, please!
