“Good hotel, small price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

The hotel is located downtown in Budapest, close to bus and metro stations. Rooms are clean, simple, quiet and comfortable. People at reception desk are friendly and speak good English. Wi-fi connection included in the price. Breakfast is very basic, so I won't choose this option next time I'll go there.

Do not be put off by the exterior of this small hotel as it is a lovely hidden gem. Wonderfully located it is absolutely spotlessly clean. The staff can't do enough for their guests and are delightful. ~Breakfast is an experience downstairs in the ~Bike Café nestled in an open air courtyard so you can chose to eat outside or inside. The rooms are spacious and airy and to sum up excellent value for money in the heart of the City. We would certainly stay again and will recommend to all our friends who might be considering a break in Budapest.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the courtyard are very peaceful

Great small and very clean hotel. The best part of it besides the lovely staff is hotel's location. It's practical in the middle of the city, just minutes away from every tourist attractions.
The rooms are big enough with clean bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A great place overall. Has a great value for money. Definitely will stay at this hotel again.

This hotel firstly is so well located in the Astoria District right across the street from the jewish section and the lovely great synagogue. It seemed that everywhere we went, our hotel was only a walking distance away. It is close to all the sites of Budapest, St. Stephen's church is right down the block, as is the Hungarian History museum. You can even walk to Buda and the great market hall and a quick metro to anything else. The rooms are large and marble like tiled with a new feeling. Each room has either a jacuzzi or shower. We had a jacuzzi which was a real treat. The staff is very sweet and accomodating. The breakfast only $3.50 is served in the courtyard of the building at a cute cafe and is very good. Granola, yogurt, coffee\tea and juice or an omelet and bread are very filling. The only unusual thing that might turn some higher class people off is that there isn't a lobby. It is in the 3rd floor of a building with other businesses like a hostel on the 4th floor. But it is very safe, you have a key to the outside door which is locked at night and a key to the door where you stay. You get used to it and all the pluses outweigh this funkiness. It is wonderful and I am writing this on my last day. I hope my Vienna hotel is as good. Oh it also has air conditioning and free wi fi in the room. ANd it was so cheap. I only paid $68 a night. Wonderful, wonderful.

Stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful little hotel in the center of Budapest. Located right on the M1 red line (Astoria), you are just a few stops away from Keleti station or just about anywhere else you'd like to go. The staff is very friendly and are more than willing to help you with any of your needs. Breakfast is also very good and is offered in an open air cafe on the ground floor of the hotel. Nights are very quiet and relaxing. No loud noises or partying so you can feel refreshed for your next day. Great hotel, great location, great staff.
