“Ideal Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

The hotel is situated on the Pest side of the city only a few hundred yards from the Elisabeth Bridge across the Danube. Although we arrived early we received a very friendly welcome from the reception staff and formalities were quickly and efficiently dealt with. All the reception staff spoke very good english and all were exceedingly helpful. The bedroom was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom, though somewhat compact, was well equipped with a bath with shower attatchment, wash basin, toilet, hair dryer and underfloor heating. We had no towels in the room when we arrived but this was very quickly remedied. Breakfast was substantial and couldn't be faulted. We would happily stay there again in the future, all in all, an excellent hotel.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

I stayed at the hotel 4 nights. The location is very centrally located, close to metro. Breakfast was excellent. Room service and house keeping staff were very friendly and attentive. Room is clean and good size. One of the female front desk agens was very helpful to call the cab company and explained to them that I lost my payment confirmation.

However, a few things I was not satisfied with.

1. My mum and I arrived very late. We were offered to stay on the 2nd floor. My mum preferred to stay a bit higher floor but we were told the hotel was fully booked. The male front desk agent then said but the room you are going to stay has 3 beds and it is big. However, when we saw the room, it was just a standard twin. I told front desk agent that this is not a 3 beds room, he said 'yup, I know.' so till now I had no clue why the staff told me that.

2. The shower was really high so floor and towels got all wet . I did no like to make a big mess in the room, especially bathroom but this shower was just useless.

3. they do have a mini bar and fridge but a kettle will be more useful. I had to call the room service to provide me hot water to make a cup of tea. .

Overall it was a pleasant stay.

This modern 4* hotel is situated on the Pest side of the city only a few hundred yards from the Elisabeth Bridge across the Danube. We received a very friendly welcome from the reception staff and formalities were quickly and efficiently dealt with. All the reception staff spoke very good english and all were exceedingly helpful. The bedroom was a good size with very comfortable beds, mini bar, flat screen tv, air-conditioning and FREE room safe. The bathroom, though somewhat compact, was well equipped with a bath with shower attatchment, wash basin, toilet, hair dryer, lovely thick bath towels, toiletries and underfloor heating. Breakfast was substantial with scrambled egg, bacon, sausages, cold meats, cheese, salad items, yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants, pain au chocolat etc. We did not take evening meals in the hotel but the bar/coffee shop did seem a little small especially as, one night, it was raining heavily and the coffee shop was soon full. There is an internet area on the first floor. We noticed that on the reception desk there were Trip Advisor Certificates of Excellence for both 2011 and 2012 displayed. All we can say is that these are extremely well deserved and we would very happily stay there again. All in all, an excellent hotel.

Just returned from 4 nights. I had a lovely clean large room with an enormous comfy bed. Lovely bathroom, fluffy towels and good toiletries. It was very quiet and I slept very well. There was an excellent buffet breakfast covering all tastes. The hotel is situated on a busy street, a couple of minutes from 2 metro lines and handy for walking to many sights, bars and restaurants. I shall certainly return.

Room Tip: A courtyard or rear facing room would be quiet.

We found this hotel to be really well appointed and very comfortable. In terms of value it is hard to beat. The Main Street location was noisy out side but very quiet inside. Close to metro for travelling around town and easy walk to old town.

Very good location, fast check-in, polite staff, clean room. Near to the metro station ferenciek tere, 180m. We reserved the room without breakfast, the receptionist told us that we could visit the breakfast room and if we liked it, we could eat and then they charged it in our room, as they did. We use two electronic devices and each of us was given a different wifi number. Good access.
